New Menu!

Starting this week Brian’s Grill House will be offering up a new streamlined menu that we are very excited about. It includes a number of new flavors for our wings, including Blazing Chipotle and Thai Green Curry. The menu should be going into effect in the coming week.

Now open for earlier lunches!

Starting this week we will be open starting at 12pm instead of 2pm. We are also going to start having dessert, one different one per week. This weeks will be Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes- come try em!

Now Open With Limited Menu

Although our building is still under some construction, our restaurant and bar are up and running! We have been serving all 20 of our burgers and a rotating limited menu that includes a selection of our appetizers and some of our sandwiches and entrees.

Currently our hours are as follows;

Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday; 2pm to 10pm

Friday: 2pm to 12pm

Monday: Closed

We can also host small events, so feel free to contact us if you’re interested!

When looking for the building please be aware that there are currently no signs  and the ground floor area does still look like a construction site.

Opening First Quarter 2012

We are very excited to introduce a very authentic American style restaurant and bar to Nepal! Brian’s Grill House will be breaking new grounds on many fronts in Kathmandu as we offer not only quality food made from scratch within the restaurant, but also bring in a number of cheeses and spices that are currently just not available in the city. Some of the Highlights of what we be offering include;

* At Least 20 Different Burgers- We will be offering a mix of beef, chicken, and veggie burgers with a wide variety of toppings, sauces, and cheeses. Our burgers range from those topped with American style chili and bacon, to those topped with blue cheese and grilled apples, and even just your classic pub burger if that’s what you’re looking for. We will be baking our own rolls, and making our own condiments and sauces to provide the best burgers in Kathmandu, and possibly all of South Asia.

* Authentic American BBQ- Brian’s will be offering a great selection of BBQ, from his already famous pulled pork, to BBQ Pork Ribs, BBQ chicken, southern style corn bread, and coleslaw. Our BBQ sauce is slow cooked, and it’s sweet and tangy flavor is the result of a sauce that is layered with nuanced hints of molasses, honey, hickory smoke, and just a bit of heat.

*Real Tex-Mex- Don’t worry you won’t find broccoli in our burritos! Brian already provides the best salsa in Kathmandu, and soon the Grill House will be providing authentic fajitas, tequila-lime marinaded chicken-steak-prawn, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, nachos and American style chili. We will be importing Colby and Monterrey Jack cheese, real chipotle peppers and a number of spices to make sure that our flavors are exactly like what you’d get back in the States or possibly just over the border.

*Lots of Vegetarian Options- Brian might be a carnivore, but Kathmandu has lots of vegetarians, and our menu makes sure to  cater to this large demographic. From Thai summer rolls, a number of dinner salads, cucumber soups and vegetarian chili to more substantial meals such as eggplant parmesan, veggie melts, and bean based taco or burrito plates we made sure to give vegetarians a wide variety of delicious options.

* A Full Western Style Bar- From some rare (in Kathmandu) imported liquors such as Hendricks Gin or Patron Tequila, to cordials such as Godiva liqueurs to make the best (possibly only!) chocolate martinis in Kathmandu we have lots of things that no one else can offer. We will also be offering real frozen drinks such as margaritas, mud slides and daiquiris made with shaved ice. Finally there will be many infused liquors such as American bourbon infused with Madagascar vanilla, tequila blanco infused with Ecuadorian cocoa, and vodka infused with  New England cranberries.

* Sauces & Condiments Made From Scratch- Everything from our Dijon mustard, ketchup and Cajun mayonnaise as condiments to our sun dried tomato and basil pasta sauce, our triple strained Greek style yogurts  and coconut milk for piña coladas are all made in house from the best ingredients we can source. We will even be aging our own Louisiana style hot pepper sauce made with a mix of Nepali peppers and imported chipotle peppers. We never use artificial flavoring, high fructose corn syrup, or anything that isn’t “food”.

*One of the Best Locations in Kathmandu- We are excited to offer a location that is nine stories up, that overlooks the entire valley and the mountains beyond when it’s clear. Our bar straddles the exterior wall so patrons can sit outside or inside and either way take in the great views. Aside from offering spacious seating and private dining inside, we also have almost 2,000 square feet of outdoor patio space. We are located in central Kathmandu, have outdoor and below ground dedicated parking and a private elevator to bring you right up to the restaurant.

Currently our building is being finished and our space’s interiors are being put together. We can’t wait to serve the people of Kathmandu and provide one of the most fun locations in the city!
